Description: The Sinagua Indians came down form the high country to construct Wupatki about A.D. 1120. The remains demonstrate the skills in planning, engineering and stone masonry. The prehistoric masons cleverly incorporated stone outcroppings of bedrock into the walls of the pueblo.
